This includes threats, intimidation, bullying, stalking, or other types of abuse.\u202c<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discriminatory Harassment: Any conduct that discriminates or denigrates an individual on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, citizenship, nationality, age, sexual or gender identity, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law in the location where the event takes place.\u202c<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sexual Harassment: Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, or other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature. Examples include (but are not limited to):\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>unwelcome advances or propositions, particularly when one individual has authority over the other;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>inappropriate touching of an individual\u2019s body;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>degrading or humiliating comments about an individual\u2019s appearance;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>using an activity-related communication channel to display or distribute sexually explicit images or messages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Unacceptable\u202d \u202cbehaviors\u202d \u202cinclude\u202c\u202c, but are not limited to:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>intimidating,\u202d \u202charassing,\u202d \u202cabusive,\u202d \u202cdiscriminatory,\u202d \u202cderogatory\u202d \u202cor\u202d \u202cdemeaning\u202d \u202cspeech\u202d \u202cor\u202d behavior.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organisers<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What to do If you are a Victim of or Witness Unacceptable Behaviour<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are subjected to unacceptable behaviour or observe that someone else is being subjected to unacceptable behaviour, please approach<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Annette St\u00fcmpel or<br>&#8211; Rebecca Beach<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>from the local FME organizing team or contact the staff at the help desk who will provide assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will protect confidentiality to every possible extent.
